Convention Registration FAQ
Q: If I am a member of MAVT, how do I register for the MAVT convention?
A: There are two methods of registration. There is paper registration (sent directly to the membership coordinator, along with your payment) OR on-line registration via the MAVT website.Our preferred method of registration is on-line AND there is a discount offered for registering on-line! If you are a member of MAVT, you will want to have an account created AND be logged in to your individual account. Then click on convention registration and follow the directions. This process is quick and easy. You also have the option to pay with a credit card. Or, by clicking the “pay later” option, you can send a check directly to the membership coordinator.
Q: If I am NOT a member of MAVT, how do I register for the MAVT convention?
A: There are two methods of registration. The two methods of registration are paper registration (sent directly to the membership coordinator) OR on-line registration via the MAVT website. You do not need to be a member of MAVT, nor do you have to create an account on the website to utilize our on-line registration method. There is a non-member box to check and you can still register on-line.
Q: If I register on-line, and I work at a facility with multiple convention attendees, can I register multiple people under one account?
A: No. Registration on-line,needs to be done on an individual basis, with only one registration per account. Therefore, it is best to have each individual register on-line themselves. You can always pick the “pay later” option and send a group payment. If you choose this option, on a piece of paper, we need each individual’s name/address included in that envelope in order to credit the appropriate accounts.
Q: Where can I find information about the convention?
A: You should have gotten a newsletter, in the mail, with all of the convention details. The MAVT website will also have all of the convention information under the “events” drop down menu.
