Convention attendees registering online will save $20 on two-day registration and $10 on one day or student registration when you register online before February 12, 2020. To pay with MasterCard, Visa, or Discover Card you must register online. To pay with check when you register online – just register online and mail proof of registration with payment to MAVT: Attention Membership, PO Box 580194, Minneapolis, MN 55458.
Confirmation notices will be emailed once your registration is processed for both online and mailed registration. Please contact us if you do not receive an email confirmation.
Registration Desk– Registration packets including name badges, convention program, and special event tickets can be picked up at the registration desk located on the second floor of the Minneapolis Hilton, Symphony IV. Confirmation notices will not be mailed out prior to the convention for mailed registration. The registration desk will be open for registration packet pickup and at the door registration:

MAVT Critical Care Nutrition and Assisted Feeding lecture and Dry lab. One hour lecture and one-half hour dry lab. Lecture from 7 -8 pm and Lab from 8:15 – 9:00 pm. This session is included with your one or two day convention registration at no extra charge. Just select Thursday night session when you register along with your regular convention registration. MAVT Annual Meeting/Lunch, Noon, No charge
If you are a member of MAVT, plan on attending our Annual MAVT Meeting and find out what is happening within our organization. We will elect new officers as well as present the award for Technician of the Year. State Representative and Secretary are two year positions and are open for nominations. If interested please contact MAVT President Heather Holmgren for additional information. Space is limited, must pre-register.
Proceeding Notes – All registrants will have access to the 2020 Proceedings online where you will be able to view, print and download lecture notes prior to and after the convention. Login information to access these notes will be emailed out in mid February 2020. No CD or paper proceedings will be provided.
Continuing Education Card – MAVT will provide CE Forms with your registration materials. These forms have space for you to check off the seminars you attend and add up the hours earned for re-certification. Be sure to fill out the form and keep it in your CE File for verification when you renew your veterinary technician certification. For additional information on continuing education guidelines. (NOTE: 1.0 hour is equal to 1 CE credit. Any sessions that are considered Non-Medical according to MVMA guidelines will be noted with a (NM) after the session title)
MAVT Booth – Be sure to stop by MAVT’s booth in or near the exhibit hall.
Wellness Center – Attendees can have blood drawn for rabies antibody status ($60.00) and total cholesterol ($10.00) at the Wellness Center. Blood Pressure readings will also be available (no charge). Results will be sent by mail from Marshfield Labs. You will need to contact the MVMA to register for these items. The Wellness Center will be open during the following times:

Cancellation/Refund Policy – No refunds will be made after February 12, 2020. Refunds are made only if the registrant has contacted MAVT, in writing, requesting reimbursement prior to February 12, 2020. A $20 handling fee will be assessed for all cancellations.
